Here you will find information about me and all of my upcoming projects. Enjoy!

Krista has had a passion for acting from a very young age. Over the years she has had the good fortune to work on a wide range of stage productions including The Liar, Stepping Out, Nana's Naughty Knickers, There Goes the Bride, Glengarry Glen Ross, Love Virtually, and Les Miserables as well as some independent films such as Soul Mates, A Great Guy, Still Life, Signing Off, and Grey Zone. Constantly striving to learn, Krista has studied at; The Robyn Kay Studio, The Lighthouse, Rapier Wit, and The Second City to name a few. When she is not performing, Krista is most likely travelling the world, taking a new class or trying to find the best cheesecake in the city.

  • So grateful to have gotten to take part in this year's InspiraTO Festival at the Alumnae Theatre! I had always wanted to participate in this festival and to perform on the Alumnae stage, so this was a two-for-one bucket list item for me!!!

  • The run of Unnecessary Farce has come to a close. What an amazing month! We had packed houses, amazing audience reactions and great reviews! Thank you to Village Players for letting me be part of your final show of the season. Way to go out with a bang!

  • I am now officially a certified FDC Intermediate Actor Combatant with over 120hrs training in: Rapier & Dagger, Small Sword, Long Sword, and Theatrical Martial Arts on top of my previous training in Quarter Staff, Single Sword and Unarmed Combat!                       I am absolutely loving stunt combat training and studying at Rapier Wit and am so excited to get to use those skills in some upcoming projects! Details to follow soon!

  • I am so excited to announce that my 15 second short horror film, WHO came in 9th place for Best Story at this year's 15 Second Horror Film Challenge! This was my first stab at directing a project and I am so proud that it has done so well! You can see it for yourself here.

  • Still Life screened to a packed house as part of this year's Short Film Category at ToIFF. It was so great to finally see it live. Well done everyone!

  • I took my first mounted combat class. I have been a horseback rider for years, but this was my first time doing tricks and obstacles and firing weapons from horseback. SO fun! I will definitely be back to Steel & Steed soon!

  • "A Great Guy" was awarded “The Golden Hotcake Award” aka Juror’s Choice at The Shortstack Film Festival this year! Congratulations everyone!
